Baseball Programs

EYA Baseball programs offer a variety of programs for youths to learn and play baseball while understanding how to interact with others and be part of a team.

Intramural Baseball programs offer organized baseball to registered youths between the age of 5 - 18 and do not require a tryout. All programs have a player participation rule.

The EYA sponsors traveling baseball for boys 9-18 years of age.  The teams travel throughout the Lehigh Valley area.  Boys must be residents of the Borough of Emmaus or Upper Milford Township to participate on these teams and an additional participation is charged to help offset the additional costs of these teams.  Try outs are required and team selection will be made prior to the start of the intramural baseball season allowing those who don't make the traveling teams to participate in the intramural program.   Additional information will be available at registration or you can send your question via e-mail.

 Intramural Baseball Program

Mission: The purpose of our Intramural Baseball programs is to provide an educational and athletic opportunity, for youths, in a structured, minimally competitive environment to:

  • Develop Fundamental Baseball Skills and Knowledge.

  • Provide a safe and controlled learning environment that will allow for the physical and emotional differences inherited between children.

  • Allow for learning proper conduct and sportsmanship.

***For ALL Baseball Programs:  Practices and Games will be at least twice per week.  Practices will be at the coaches schedule. Games will come from the League.

Playing the game:  After Learning the basics are over,  a schedule is established for each team to play each other at least once and other teams from other Youth Associations in the area. The game consists of three innings in which an inning is over when all players have batted.
